About the role: 

The Strategic Finance team plays a key role within Replit to drive strategic initiatives through business analysis and financial modeling. It also leads efforts for optimizing product finance and maintaining investor relations. As a key member of the team, you will partner closely with functional teams within Replit to adopt a data-driven strategy to drive results.

You will…:

• Own the financial model to create medium and long-term plans for the company

• Conduct industry and competitive analysis for existing and upcoming products

• Develop a holistic pricing strategy based on a data-driven approach

• Create a unit economic framework for products to drive profitability

• Maintain and track key performance indicators and financial metrics

• Assist in the preparation of board and investor materials

• Advise on special projects such as M&A and capital raises

   

Required skills and experience:

• 2 to 5 years of work experience (ideally in a Strategic Finance team at a fast-paced tech business, Private Equity/VC, or Investment Banking)

• Strong financial modeling skill-set

• Deep understanding of consumer-tech business models

• Self-starter with a high level of curiosity and a problem-solving mindset

• Ability to partner cross-functionally and synthesize vast amounts of data to create a coherent plan of action

• Engineering background or exposure to technological products

Bonus Points: 

• Prior experience with Metabase, Amplitude, PitchBook

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data languages

*Candidates with 4 or more years of experience may be considered for a Strategic Finance Manager title
